Alumni Spotlight:
Name: Casey Almeido
Class Year: 2015
Major: Nursing

Who are you?
Nurse, Fitness Fanatic, Pizza Addict, Traveler, and Die-Hard TCU Fan.

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. The nursing program and, of course, the gorgeous campus brought me to Fort Worth, Texas to attend TCU. I was accepted into TCU’s Nursing Program as a freshman in 2011 and graduated with my BSN in December 2015. I was part of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity at TCU and made all my life-long friends on this campus! After graduating from TCU, I went on to pass my Nursing Boards and received my Registered Nurse title. This accomplishment is dear to my heart because there was a time during college that I did not know if I would be able to finish my degree.

Red Carpet events coordinated by the Alumni Association were held in both Dallas and Fort Worth with nearly 600 people in total attendance. Guests were treated to an appearance from Mr. Hall who spoke about the process of making his book into a movie and the actors he got to work with.
