The Art Galleries at TCU

The Art Galleries at TCU present "Indian Removal Act III: We are a Wounding," an exhibition by Joe Harjo, a multidisciplinary artist from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma. "Indian Removal Act III: We are a Wounding" marks the final installment of Indian Removal Acts I-III, an exhibition series that Harjo describes as “delving into the historical and contemporary issues that have profoundly affected Native American communities, our land, our narratives, and our pursuit of prosperous futures.” The exhibition includes new photography, video, sculpture, prints, text pieces and installation.

Time: 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Poo Live Crew

Poo Live Crew is a legendary party band from Fort Worth, Texas, known for their outrageous stage antics, hilarious parodies, and high-energy performances. For more than two decades, they’ve packed venues across DFW with a mix of comedy, rock, and sing-along covers that keep crowds laughing and dancing all night. They’re a Fort Worth staple—equal parts rock show and comedy act—making them one of the most entertaining live bands in North Texas.

About Tyler Smith ‘00:

Tyler Smith

Tyler graduated from TCU in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance. While at TCU, he was a member of Student Foundation and served as president his senior year. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, and he maintained a 4.0 GPA during his 4 years at TCU. Tyler currently resides and works as a general dentist in Omaha, Nebraska.

Marshawn Evans Daniels

Marshawn Evans Daniels is a Reinvention Strategist, Influence Expert, and best-selling author known as The Godfidence® Coach. A former sports attorney, Miss America finalist, and contestant on The Apprentice, she left corporate law to build a multimillion-dollar enterprise helping women of faith elevate their influence and income. As Chairwoman of the Godfidence Institute & Business School, she leads transformational programs like Speak for Pay® and The Godfidence Women’s Summit. Her work has been featured on CNN, Fox Business, and ESPN, with clients including Nike, HP, and the NFL. A magna cum laude graduate of TCU and Georgetown Law, Marshawn is also a Truman Scholar and Supreme Court–admitted attorney. Her books SKIRTS in the Boardroom and Believe Bigger reflect her mission to empower purpose-driven women to live boldly and give generously.
