The 16-day journey begins in charming Copenhagen, where highlights include Rosenborg and Christianborg palaces, along with independent exploration. See Elsinore, infamous setting of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and the Karen Blixen Museum. Reaching Oslo by overnight ferry, visit Maihaugen’s popular open-air museum and overnight at a ski lodge in Gaala. The following journey to Geiranger crosses Norway’s “roof,” offering stunning views of Geirangerfjord – Norway’s most dramatic fjord – from Mount Dalsnibba.

Continue through more astonishing scenery to picturesque Bergen and visit Trolhaugen, composer Edvard Grieg’s home, among other highlights. On the way to Lofthus, experience the breathtaking Western Fjord District, stopping at one of Norway’s largest orchards. Traverse stunning Naeroyfjord by ferry, then board the storied Flåm Railway for a thrilling ascent of the Flåm Valley. En route to Oslo, visit the Hardanger Nature Center and beautiful Voringfoss Waterfall. In the appealing Norwegian capital, tour the Viking Ship Museum and other highlights and explore independently.
