About Me: Nataly recently started her first year of nursing school at TCU and says although it's been a challenge, she loves learning all there is to know about nursing and the healthcare field. Her goal after graduation is to return home and work with at-risk families who have limited access to healthcare and face challenges due to language barriers.

"As a nursing intern for Kaiser Permanente in my hometown of Southern California, I was able to put into practice, many of the things that I learned as a student," Nataly said. "I hope to one day return here as a working nurse."

"I will forever be thankful for the wonderful support that I have received from the Treviño family and the TCU Hispanic Alumni. Thanks to the scholarship, I was able to continue my education at TCU and become one step closer to fulfilling my dream."

About Me: Mackie is a real estate division administrator with MIG Capital in Newport Beach, CA. She enjoys being back home in Southern California with her family

About Me: Noel is enrolled in his last semester of the TCU nursing program. He is currently applying to nurse residency programs in hopes of one day working in a pediatric ICU unit. In the future, Noel would like to pursue a master's degree to become a nurse practitioner. As a non-traditional student, Noel has experienced life beyond the educational aspect and will forever be grateful for being selected as a Greg Treviño Scholarship Recipient. "The scholarship that I received provided a tremendous amount of help during very challenging times for me and my family, " Noel said. "The scholarship allowed me the ability to focus more on my school, as opposed to worrying about the financial piece of paying for school.”

About Me: Jose is currently employed at the University of Texas at Arlington, as an Information Technology Specialist III. He is currently planning a 2016 wedding and is very excited. Jose serves on the regional executive board for his fraternity, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Incorporated.

About Me: Gaby is an admissions counselor for the University of Texas at Arlington, Bound for Success Program. "The Greg Treviño Scholarship Program has inspired me to follow Greg's legacy. I, myself, want to continue inspiring students; advocating for the students; and making sure that they know that it is possible to achieve a higher education. I would like to provide them with resources, just like Greg did. Greg made everyone feel special. I did not have the opportunity to meet Greg, but through his family, and loved ones, I was able to be inspired through his actions.”

About Me: Miguel is a manager for teacher leadership development at Teach for America DFW. He coaches teachers to ensure they reach the vision and goals they set for their students.

Miguel's goal is to become a principal in Fort Worth ISD and help provide more opportunities for low-income students.

He got engaged during Thanksgiving break and will be getting married September 24, 2016.
