 Jud Walker was named President of EnerVest, Ltd in July of 2018. Prior to this role Jud was President and CEO of EnerVest Operating, L.L.C., where he was responsible for the company’s asset teams, HSE, drilling and completions and geoscience technologies. He has also served as COO, GM of Permian Basin and head of New Ventures. Prior to joining EnerVest in 2009, he was employed with Chesapeake Energy. Jud was the lead geoscientist for multiple plays within both the Delaware and Val Verde Basins during his seven-year tenure at Chesapeake.
